The Ukrainian President said Sunday night that he had been in talks with International Monetary Fund (IMF) Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva about "the financial stability" of Ukraine and "preparations for post-war reconstruction."
"I am sure that the cooperation between the IMF and Ukraine will continue to be fruitful" wrote Volodymyr Zelensky on the social network Twitter, stressing that "there are plans for now, but also for the future."

A week ago, the IMF advanced, "We are preparing for the huge reconstruction effort that will be needed." Georgieva had already warned that the war could hamper the post-Covid-19 global economic recovery.
Lviv Governor Maksym Kozytsky revealed this morning that the death toll from the missile attack in Lviv has risen to seven.
Kozytsky also said that, according to preliminary information, the missiles that fell in Lviv were reportedly fired from aircraft and originated in the Caspian Sea.
Russia launched a military offensive in Ukraine on February 24 that has killed nearly 2,000 civilians, according to UN data, which warns that the actual number is likely to be much higher.
The military offensive, which entered its 54th day today, has already caused more than 12 million people to flee, more than 5 million of them to neighboring countries, according to the latest UN figures - the worst refugee crisis in Europe since World War II (1939-1945).
According to the United Nations, some 13 million people are in need of humanitarian assistance in Ukraine.
