Assembly of the Republic deputy Venâncio Mondlane is no longer the rapporteur for the Renamo caucus. The information is contained in a statement issued by the party on January 18, which MZNews had access to.
According to the document, Renamo has appointed the deputy Arlindo Daniel Bila as a replacement, who will perform the same duties as the outgoing deputy.
The removal of MP Venâncio Mondlane as rapporteur of the Renamo caucus comes days after he was also removed from his position as political advisor to Ossufo Momade.
Curiously, these changes come after Venâncio Mondlane announced his candidacy for the presidency of the Renamo party, still under Ossufo Momade.
