The presidential candidate of the Democratic Alliance Coalition (CAD), Venâncio Mondlane, left Maputo this morning for Lisbon (Portugal), where he will release his electoral manifesto for the general elections on October 9.
The information was provided a few moments ago by Elvino Dias, Venâncio Mondlane's lawyer.
The source said that the CAD candidate embarked on the mission at the invitation of several political parties, with which he will hold talks.
He did not confirm the rumors about whether Venâncio Mondlane will meet with the president of that European country, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa.
O MZNews knows that some Mozambicans living in Portugal are already organized to receive the CAD candidate, possibly on Sunday.
According to Elvino Dias, Venâncio Mondlane's agenda is open to the possibility of visiting other European countries such as Germany.
The Mozambican community in Portugal is made up of more than 3,600 people.
