Last night, Venâncio Mondlane, leader of the nationwide demonstrations, denounced the execution of prisoners and the accumulation of bodies, including those of children, in the morgues.
In another live broadcast on his official Facebook account, he pointed out that the families are being prevented from identifying the bodies, which are being sent to mass graves.
"As I speak, in the central jail they are still executing a good number of the prisoners who were brought back yesterday, in Mabalane jail, as I speak they are also murdering detainees who were recovered from Mabalane jail (...) I am making a cry for help (...)", he denounced.
Given this scenario, Mondlane proposed the creation of an international petition to declare Frelimo a criminal and terrorist organization, asking for everyone's support for this cause.
He highlighted the murder of more than 400 people in such a short space of time, emphasizing that not even during the 16-year civil war did the country witness brutality of this magnitude.
Among the proposals, he suggested the eradication of all symbols associated with Frelimo, including flags, clothing and accessories, as well as banning their sale throughout Mozambican territory.
He criticized South Africa's position on the current situation in Mozambique, mentioning the country's dependence on Mozambique's gas and energy.
Finally, he said that from Monday he will announce spearhead measures, saying that this time no one will die, because the people will start using self-defense, so let's be vigilant.
