The beach soccer team of Marseille in France will have, still this month, the selector, Abineiro Ussaca, and the player, Nelson Manuel, Mozambicans of the National Team of the sport.

The representatives of the national flag will show their worth in a three-week period from May 24th to June 12th. During this period Marseille will play in the European Champions League.

The invitation was made to him by the Comoros selector at the COSAFA Cup due to the excellent performance of the National Team in recent international competitions,

According to Ussaca, the Comorian coach, Amir Abdou, who is part of Marseille's technical team, already had them as references to reinforce the French club, and this possibility gained more shape at the "COSAFA".

"During the COSAFA Cup, the Comoros selector made the invitation to Nelson and me to go and work in Marseille. There are still a few details to be worked out," he said.

This year, Abineiro Ussaca and Nelson Manuel, who has a contract with Ferroviário de Maputo, will have in October the responsibility of serving the National Team in the CAN, which will take place in Vilankulo beach, Inhambane province.

Mozambique won the COSAFA, in November 2021, in Durban, with Nelson being considered the best player of the competition, similarly to what had happened in the CAN-Dakar 2021.
