The Union of Civil Aviation Pilots (SPAC) has called for a demonstration for next Tuesday, aimed at workers who are not on duty, against the "abuses and injustices" of the management and TAP of the guardianship.
"The SPAC board and the union committee have called for a demonstration for all TAP Air Portugal pilots who are off duty, for next Tuesday, August 2," says a statement from the union, quoted by Lusa.
According to the news source quoting the SPAC, at issue are the refusals of the Board of Directors of TAP Air Portugal to hold meetings of workers.
Appealing for a "massive participation" of workers, the union also said that the goal is to demonstrate dissatisfaction with the "abuses, injustices and the way the administration and the guardianship have managed the company and the labor relationship with the pilots.
The demonstration will begin at 8:30 am, in Lisbon, near the Areeiro Crew Terminal (TTA) and will end at the TAP Campus.
