Strike takes Maputo city by storm. By the turn of the afternoon, what was expected to be a peaceful demonstration had evolved into chaos. This morning, Renamo party leader Venâncio Mondlane led a march in the city. During his speech before actually starting the march, he announced the next steps in the demonstrations which, until then, "had been peaceful".....
