Reservas internacionais caíram para 3.5 milhões de dólares

Mozambique's net international reserves for the import of goods and services fell to 3,586 million dollars for the third consecutive month in April.

Since the beginning of the year, national net international reserves have fallen progressively by 0.5% every month, according to the News citing a report by the Bank of Mozambique.

Meanwhile, the same bookings grew to 3.6 million dollars in January, the highest figure since September 2021.

The amount of reserves so far is enough to cover three months of expected needs for the whole year. If major projects are excluded, this coverage extends to almost five months.
