Nearly 100 young people from Maputo province received funding yesterday to invest in micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, for a total of 148.5 million meticais.
The money is distributed through the "Agora Emprega" program, where each young person can receive up to one million five hundred thousand meticais to boost their business and generate more jobs for Mozambicans.
During the ceremony to hand out the checks, the Secretary of State for Youth and Employment, Oswaldo Petersburgo, encouraged the young people to become examples to others and to continue to believe in their entrepreneurial potential, according to Notícias.
