The President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, is taking part today, Friday (12), in the district of Matutuíne, Maputo province, in the Tripartite Summit between Mozambique, Botswana and Zimbabwe, on rail-port projects.

The aim of the summit is to analyze cooperation mechanisms for the implementation of the "Ponta Techobanine Project", to be developed in the three countries, which consists of the construction of a deep-water port in the town of Techobanine, Maputo province, and a railway line linking Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Botswana.

The Presidents of Botswana, Mokwgeetsi Masisi, and Zimbabwe, Emmerson Mnangagwa, are also taking part in the event.
