PR demands rigor in the INSS debt recovery mechanism

PR exige rigor no mecanismo de recuperação da dívida no INSS

The Head of State, Filipe Nyusi, today demanded that the managers of the National Social Security Institute (INSS) rigorously improve the mechanisms for recovering taxpayers' debts from debtor companies.

Filipe Nyusi, who was speaking at the inauguration ceremony of the INSS district office in Namaacha, Maputo province, stressed that "these mechanisms will allow the protection of workers who have responded to the institution's call, contributing to their access to social security benefits".

In this regard, Nyusi urged the INSS to make the institution's corporate management system increasingly sophisticated, so that it can free itself from the damaging ways in which it has been victimized.

He also expressed his desire to see the process of modernizing and computerizing the country's social security system consolidated.

The INSS District Delegation Building, inaugurated this Wednesday in Namaacha, Maputo province, cost the state coffers around 21 million meticais.
