On Tuesday, South African police authorities arrested more than 120 illegal immigrants, whose nationalities have not been revealed, in the city of Durban.
The operation confiscated firearms, an unspecified amount of cocaine and counterfeit dollar bills worth more than four million rands.
They were also found without documents, in a search and seizure operation that covered six buildings, one of which belonged to the municipality.
The governor of KwaZulu-Natal province, Thamsanqa Ntuli, where the port city of Durban is located, said that the multidisciplinary action by the South African authorities is aimed at fighting crime, adding that undocumented foreigners will be deported.
