The Attorney General's Office (PGR) arrested frelimist Artimiza Magaia on Wednesday, in compliance with a lawsuit filed by fellow frelimist and President of the Economic Associations of Mozambique - CTA, Agostinho Vuma.
The EvidenceHe said that the PGR is still on the trail of 'cronies' of the Frelimo party member, above all, her boss, who continue to persecute Vuma.
The website doesn't give details of the circumstances of the arrest, but it is reported that between today and Saturday, the Frelimo party will be meeting in ordinary session at the party school in the city of Matola, suggesting that Artimiza Magaia may have traveled to Maputo to take part in the party event.
The feud between Artimiza Magaia and Agostinho Vuma was triggered last year when, in videos shared on social media, she accused him of using bribes to win another term as a Frelimo MP for the constituency of Gaza province. Vuma resigned his candidacy.
Following the videos, Vuma complained to the Massingir court, accusing her of slander and defamation. forbidden to mention the name of Agostinho Vuma. But she continued with the accusations.
