Mozambique intends to increasingly diversify the products it exports to the European Union (EU) market, as a way of maximizing the business opportunities this bloc offers the country.
This was expressed on Friday in Maputo by the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, Ludovina Bernardo, at the first edition of the Moz Export Conference, organized by her institution under the slogan "Diversifying and Increasing Exports in Reference Markets", according to Notícias online.
Mozambique and the Union signed the Economic Partnership Agreement, which has maintained a favorable balance over the last five years, amounting to 673.4 million dollars in exports.
Currently, the source said, the European Union is Mozambique's largest multilateral trading partner.
