The commercial relations between Mozambique and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) may enter a new dynamic, because the legal conditions that should boost the exchange are already created, according to Muinde Abucara, Chargé d'Affaires at the Mozambican Embassy.
In addition, the legal agreement signed between the two countries should guarantee the reciprocal protection of investments and other crucial arrangements to ensure their security.
Muinde Abucara, who was speaking to journalists Friday in the city of Matola, Maputo province, said the instruments initialed between the countries represent a step towards increasing trade, which in the last seven years has amounted to more than 3.1 billion U.S. dollars.
"With the signing of these agreements, our prospects are very good, especially in terms of attracting new investments and increasing trade," he stressed.
He said that, soon, business forums and visits to prospect investment opportunities will be held between entrepreneurs from the two states.
