MITSS secures 21,000 jobs in South Africa

The Ministry of Labor and Social Security (MITSS), through the National Directorate of Migratory Labor (DTM), has ensured that more than 21,000 jobs for fellow nationals will be maintained in neighboring South Africa by 2021.

Of this number, 18,800 are mine workers and 3,058 are farminers, AIM writes.

During the first quarter of this year, DTM secured the placement of 8,962 new workers in South Africa, of which 8,175 in mines and 787 in pharmas, as the industry's contribution to job creation.
