Millennium bim was distinguished as the "Best Bank in Mozambique" by Euromoney magazine, a worldwide reference publication in the area of global economy and finance.
The recognition of this banking institution for the sixth time comes as a result of its performance in the categories of new products and technological applications anticipating the needs and demands of the market, the policy of data protection and security of Customers' banking operations, the social responsibility actions undertaken as well as the strategies to prevent and combat COVID-19 adopted by Millennium bim to protect its Employees and Customers.
For the Chief Executive Officer of Millennium bim, José Reino da Costa, this new distinction once again recognizes the effort that the Bank has undertaken, for more than 25 years, for the financial inclusion and economic progress of Mozambicans through the development and offer of banking solutions to our Private and Corporate Customers, as well as the simplification of procedures with the use of effective, efficient and safe vanguard technologies.
"The award recognizes the investment in technological innovation and the launch of new products and digital services of excellence, especially in a context of response to the COVID-19 pandemic, which is one of Millennium bim's strategic bets in recent years, through the continuous modernization and development of platforms for facilitating and simplifying banking procedures," the statement said.
