The CEO of Access Bank, Marco Abalroado, was the leader with the greatest visibility in the national media, according to the CEO Media Report Mozambique 2024, which evaluated publications from January 1 to September 30, 2024.

Marco Abalroado was the CEO with the highest volume of articles and had the fifth best favorability (70.7) in the ranking, a reputation based on initiatives in the field of Social Responsibility.

On the other hand, Agostinho Langa Júnior, CEO of Caminhos de Ferro de Moçambique, was the leader with the most positive favorability in the media.

The PCA of Caminhos de Ferro de Moçambique (CFM), which will enter the ranking directly in 2024, stood out as the leader with the highest favorability index (73.8).

Other results from this Qualitative Media Analysis Report:

• Francisco Costa, CEO of BCI, is second in the table in terms of volume of articles and has the second best favorability, leading the favorability among CEOs in the financial sector.
• Osório Lucas, CEO of Sociedade de Desenvolvimento do Porto de Maputo, is third in volume of articles and ninth in the favorability ranking.
• Tomás Matola, CEO of Hidroeléctrica Cahora Bassa, ranks fourth in the volume of articles and tenth in the favorability index.
• Manuel Soares, CEO of Moza Banco, ranks fifth in terms of volume of articles and fourth in terms of favorability.

• Bernardo Aparicio, CEO of Standard Bank, comes sixth, both in terms of volume of articles and favorability.

• Amélia Muendane, CEO of Aeroportos de Moçambique, the first of the two female entries in the 2024 ranking, is eighth in terms of volume of articles and occupies the same position in terms of favorability.
• Pedro Carvalho, the CEO of Absa Bank, ranks ninth in the volume of articles and seventh in the favorability index.
• Finally, Rui Maximino from Millennium Bim and Ludovina Bernardo from Empresa Nacional de Hidrocarbonetos share tenth place in the ranking with the same volume of articles. In terms of favorability, Rui Maximino is in third place in the ranking, while Ludovina Bernardo, the second female presence in 2024, is in tenth place.
