The Defense and Security Forces (FDS) claim that the right to demonstrate is being used by moral authors to create disorder in the country.

According to a publication in the newspaper "The Country" The information came after a meeting between the interior and defense ministers.

According to the SDS, "these demonstrations have been supported and financed by some civil society organizations and foreign, national and international individuals for obscure purposes".

Nevertheless, they call on "foreign citizens residing in the country to refrain from any intervention or participation in acts that constitute a violation of the law and interference in the internal affairs of the Mozambican state".
