MUVA - a social incubator that works for the economic empowerment of women - launched this Wednesday, in Maputo, the business acceleration program, in an initiative financed by the European Union, in the amount of 670 thousand Euros, corresponding to about 45.5 million Meticais.
The two-year program will be implemented in the provinces of Maputo and Cabo Delgado.
According to Ludmila Comé, project manager at MUVA, quoted by Domingo, the initiative consists of training programs in business management and strengthening and supporting women-owned businesses.
"In the last two years we have assisted 225 women entrepreneurs in Maputo and Cabo Delgado provinces," he said.
For her part, the head of the infrastructure and private sector team in the Mozambican delegation of the EU, Veerle Smet believes that "when we support a woman we do it equally to the families and the community.
