LAM resumes Vilankulos and Johannesburg flights

Linhas Aéreas de Moçambique (LAM), resumes direct flights between Vilankulo and Johannesburg as of this Thursday, April 14.

It is about reestablishing the air connection between two tourist destinations of choice and that are among the world's preferences.

The first flight on the route will depart Johannesburg at 10:55am, with arrival in Vilankulo estimated at 1:10pm. From Vilankulo, the flight will take off at 13:40 hours, and is expected to land in Johannesburg at 15:55 hours. Subsequent connections will take place on Mondays and Fridays.

Each route will last approximately 02:15 hours, to be flown by a Q-100 aircraft, with capacity to carry 37 passengers in economy class. The flight will be operated in financial partnership with CemAir, under the recently signed Interline agreement.

By reintroducing the Vilankulo/Johannesburg route and vice-versa, LAM is effectively positioning itself as an active player in the promotion of tourism, through the provision of transport services that allow tourists to broaden the options of fast travel to access their preferred destinations.

It should be noted that Vilankulo was voted the best tourist destination in Africa by the Travel Coterie website, which specializes in tourism.
