The wife of the President of the Republic, Isaura Nyusi, is taking part in the World First Ladies Exchange Seminar in New York, USA, from July 10th to 13th..

According to a statement from the Office of the First Lady, the event is co-organized by the Global Alliance of First Ladies, Columbia University and the Organization of First Ladies of Africa for Development.

The seminar aims to "broaden the experiences of First Ladies in developing the social responsibility activities of their offices."

At this seminar, Isaura Nyusi will be accompanied by Mozambique's ambassador to the United States, Alfredo Nuvunga, and staff from the First Lady's Office.
