The Maputo Central Hospital (HCM) registered 138 patients on Thursday (07) as a result of the demonstrations.

According to the director of the HCM's adult emergency service, Dino Lopes, on the last day of the third phase of the protests called by Venâncio Mondlane, the emergency room of the country's largest and main health unit registered three deaths, two of which occurred outside the unit.

"Of this number, 66 were admitted yesterday, 15 of whom suffered burns and four are in a critical condition," added Dino Lopes at a press conference held on Friday.
