Government wants to realize the "Energy for All" program

The President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, on Tuesday urged the vice-minister of Mineral Resources and Energy, António Saíde, to work towards the realization of the "Energy for All" program, which aims to ensure universal access to energy by 2030.

"Access to energy is a fundamental condition for improving the living condition of the population, on the one hand, and for improving production and productivity, on the other. Electrify all administrative posts by 2024, must prevail our brand. It is a commitment I have made," he pointed out.

The president also urged the acceleration of procedures aimed at encouraging illegal artisanal mining companies to formalize their activities in order to protect their source of income, access credit, and contribute to the national economy.
