The Government guarantees the payment of salaries to about 21 thousand employees and agents of the State, who are included in Level 1 of the Single Wage Table (TSU), starting this month.

These are public servants who will see their salaries increase from 4.656,00 to 8.756,00 meticais as part of the salary revision in the State.

The Minister of Economy and Finance, Max Tonela, who advanced the fact, this Tuesday, at the end of the Council of Ministers, acknowledged the existence of some irregularities in the framing process of the more than 350 thousand civil servants of other levels of the table, which require corrections, before its implementation.

"Since the law is in effect, we will proceed with the payment of salaries for the month of July," stressed Max Tonela, adding that in the case of employees who were not covered by the new table due to inconsistencies, payments will be made as soon as possible, retroactively.

Max Tonela assured that while the TSU irregularities are being corrected, employees at other levels will receive their salaries based on the previous table.
