Government guarantees funds for the training of technical-vocational education trainers

More than $3.5 million is available for on-the-job training of trainers, as part of efforts to improve the quality of technical-vocational education.

The training of trainers, which will start soon in the country, will be phased in to allow the institutes to continue operating, according to the secretary of state for technical and vocational education, Agostinho Langa Júnior, who explained this week in Cabo Delgado province.

In brief meetings with trainers at the Montepuez and Pemba institutes, the secretary of state for technical-vocational education spoke of the new approach to the trainer profile and the desired objectives.

Agostinho Langa Júnior visited, last week, the province of Cabo Delgado, to evaluate the current stage of the functioning of the public professional technical institutes and to assess the necessary conditions in the scope of the remodeling, to respond to the new demand in terms of professional qualifications in the labor market.
