The Minister of Transport and Communications, Mateus Magala, reiterated this Thursday that the government will continue to pay the transport subsidy to three classes of citizens in the country.
These are the elderly, students and the disabled, whom Mateus Magala said the government will continue to pay attention to in order to alleviate their suffering.
Mateus Magala made this statement this Thursday in Nampula, where he also said that the government is aware of the constraints being caused by the increase in fuel prices, such as the negative effects of the war between Ukraine and Russia.
"The government is working side-by-side with the transporters in order to find viable mechanisms to continue operating the sector, without harming citizens," said the Minister of Transport and Communications, quoted by Rádio Moçambique.
