The government of Mozambique and the South African oil company, SASOL, plan to initial a new memorandum of understanding soon for the extension of cooperation in the area of professional training, for a period of more than two years.
The information was advanced yesterday during a meeting between the Secretary of State for Youth and Employment, Osvaldo Ptersburg and the Vice President of SASOL, Akash Latchaman.
The new partnership provides for the instruction of Mozambican trainers in South Africa and other countries, and the training of young nationals to meet the needs of the gas industry.
The government has already guaranteed that Mozambique will begin exporting liquefied natural gas extracted from the Rovuma basin, in Cabo Delgado, later this year.
