Governo anuncia 28 milhões de dólares para edificar 300 casas dos Combatentes

The Ministry of Combatants (MICO) has available 28 million US dollars, destined for the construction of 300 houses for the liberators of the homeland.

The fact was announced Saturday (20) in Guro, by the minister Josefina Mpelo, in the continuation of the visit that the minister is making to the province of Manica and that ended this Sunday. Josefina Mpelo said that with this amount, houses will be built in all provinces of the country to benefit the target group.

He explained that the land and the respective beneficiaries already have DUAT, and the mobilization of additional material resources for the construction of the houses is underway.

In Manica, the minister of combatants worked in the districts of Gondola, Vandúzi and the city of Chimoio, where she met with the combatants and listened to their concerns, which range from the slowness in fixing pensions to the lack of housing, employment opportunities for their descendants, and the absence or delay of the funeral allowance.
