The Frelimo party has called the Central Committee to an extraordinary session where it will debate the proposed electoral manifesto for the General Elections on October 9. The event will take place next week at the party school in the city of Matola.
Speaking after the 29th session of the party's Political Commission, spokeswoman Ludimila Maguni said that the election manifesto will address various issues, with a focus on terrorism in Cabo Delgado province.
She explained that the electoral manifesto is the result of consultation with various sectors of society in order to ensure that the concerns of Mozambicans are addressed.
At the CP meeting, among other things, concern was expressed about the crime of kidnapping that has been taking place in the country and the work carried out by the Military Mission of the Southern African Development Community. (Source: RM)
