The President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, received on Monday, in Doha (Qatar), Sheik Faisal, president of the Qatar Businessmen's Association, as well as Mohammed Hammel, secretary-general of the Forum of Gas Exporting Countries.

The President of the Republic also received the representative of the Qatar Chamber of Commerce. The three meetings precede the VI Summit of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF), taking place this Tuesday in Doha.

Meanwhile, Mozambique has also received an invitation to be an observer member of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF).

The data were advanced a few moments ago by Carlos Zacarias, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Petroleum Institute (INP) to Mozambican journalists during the preparatory meeting for Mozambique's participation in this high-level meeting, in the city of Doha, Qatar.
