Diversify the courses in the various higher education institutions in the country, in order to improve scientific knowledge and offer better services is the main challenge of the Mozambican and Angolan universities, launched this morning in Maputo, by the President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi in his speech at the opening of the international conference on 60 years of Higher Education in Mozambique and Angola.
For the President of the Republic, quoted by the newspaper Domingo - as an example - it makes no sense to give priority only to oil and gas related courses, to the detriment of others that can leverage the integrated development of the country.
He explained that in the recent past, Mozambicans bet on the exploitation of coal from Moatize, but in recent times this resource is no longer so sought after.
