The President of the Republic (PR) Filipe Nyusi held talks today with Apostle Luís Fole, the owner of the church where independent presidential candidate Venâncio Mondlane attends.
"We exchanged views on the situation in the country," wrote Filipe Nyusi on his Facebook page.
Mozambique is going through a critical post-election period that has already led to loss of life and looting of public and private property. Several religious institutions have already spoken out about the situation, calling for dialog and peaceful demonstrations.
"We will continue in an inclusive way, together with other sensitivities of this homeland of ours, to work for its stability and development," he concluded.
