The Maputo provincial government expects around 17,000 exhibitors, both national and foreign, to take part in the 59th edition of the Maputo International Fair - FACIM 2024.

To be held at the Ricatla International Fairs and Exhibitions Center, located in the district of Marracuene, under the slogan "Diversification of the National Economy in the Context of Continental Integration", this edition will showcase the country's potential for production and export, as well as promoting business and investment opportunities in the various segments of economic activity.

According to the Maputo government spokesman, of the 17,000 exhibitors, 350 will represent the province in various areas, showcasing their products and potential in the country's largest business showcase.

Cited by Radio MozambiqueLugdero Gemo explained that at the exhibition, the province, in a hybrid way, intends to internationalize and attract more investment and new business. "In order to meet the costs of the event, the Maputo provincial government could invest more than 5.8 million meticais," said the source.

The Maputo International Trade Fair is organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MIC), through the Agency for the Promotion of Investment and Exports (APIEX).
