According to a statement released on Wednesday (19), Abiola Bawuah's visit to Mozambique reinforces UBA Bank's commitment to promoting innovative solutions that enable the transformation of the country and represents another step towards economic strengthening and female empowerment. "Our commitment is to transform challenges into opportunities for a more prosperous and inclusive future," said Abiola Bawuah.
In the same context, the CEO of UBA held a meeting with the management of the Bank of Mozambique in order to find out about the country's business environment. "It was a good opportunity to learn more about the business environment," she said, stressing that there were "many business opportunities in Mozambique".
Also as part of his search for new partnerships in Mozambique, Bawuah visited the Portos e Caminhos de Ferro de Moçambique (CFM) company, where he met with the management of the rail-port company.
Through specialized financing, mentoring and financial education programs, UBA Bank has provided the necessary tools for Mozambican and African businesswomen to expand their activities, create jobs and contribute significantly to the economic growth of their respective countries.
