The General Commander of the Police of the Republic of Mozambique (PRM), Bernardino Rafael, said yesterday in the provincial capital of Cabo Delgado (Pemba), that defects were detected in the Single Wage Table (TSU) to be implemented in the corporation and that the matter has already been communicated to the Commander-in-Chief of the Defense and Security Forces (FDS), Filipe Nyusi, for due effects.
Speaking at the Provincial Command of the PRM, during a parade attended by senior officers, subalterns, and corporals, Rafael asked his subordinates for calm, assuring them that the TSU will be paid when the vices are remedied.
On the occasion, he announced that the corporation's Coordinating Council will take place tomorrow in the town of Palma and that all the logistics have been set up for this.
He also said that a ceremony will soon take place for some agents to pass to the reserve because of their age, and the promotion and progression of others.
"The process has already started at the General Command level, soon it will be here," Rafael said.
