The Assembly of the Republic (AR) will spend three billion, one hundred and sixty-three million Meticais to carry out its program of activities for the year 2023.

Parliament's budget for next year is structured into operating expenses and investments.

Of this amount, according to the Domingo newspaper, around 3 billion Meticais will be dedicated to salaries and wages, other personnel expenses, goods and services and current transfers.

The other component of the budget is dedicated to investments of around 200 million Meticais. This amount will be used for rehabilitating and maintaining infrastructure, equipping facilities, setting up an integrated security system, strengthening ICT and rehabilitating the facilities of the provincial offices of the secretariat-general of the Assembly of the Republic.
