Deficientes de guerra recebem títulos de terra para produção em Cabo Delgado

Thirty-three members of the Association of Disabled Members of the Military and Paramilitary of Mozambique (ADEMIMO) received titles this week for the Right to Use and Benefit from Land (DUAT), which gives them security of tenure so that they can better exploit the spaces they have been occupying.

The handover was made by the governor of that province, Valige Tauabo, in an event that marked the celebration of World Earth Day, commemorated on Tuesday (22).

According to a publication in Revista Terra, the beneficiaries expressed satisfaction and promised to use the land properly, prioritizing the production of more food.

The Governor of Cabo Delgado, Valige Tauabo, assured that the systematic regularization process is being carried out in compliance with the customary and good faith rules and practices safeguarded by the Land Law.
