The administration of the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine to adolescents between twelve and seventeen years of age starts next Monday, all over the country, according to an official source.
The immunization campaign, which is expected to reach nearly five million adolescents, will run until November 25 of this month, according to the National Director of Public Health Quinhas Fernandes.
According to the source, the vaccine will be administered in schools and communities, and the government has mobilized about seven million dollars for the process.
Quinhas Fernandes appealed on the occasion for the collaboration of parents and guardians and other stakeholders to ensure that the goals of the process are met.
