CFM Logistics is the name of the new company presented to the country on Thursday in Maputo by the railway port company Caminhos de Ferro de Moçambique.
It will have to act in the growing oil and gas logistics chain, namely in transportation, maritime and rail services, and storage.
The company is emerging against a backdrop of new natural gas discoveries and exploration in the country, mainly due to the projects already underway in Pande and Temane (Inhambane) and the Rovuma Basin in Cabo Delgado.
The Minister of Economy and Finance was the one who launched the company, and during the presentation Max Tonela explained that the fundamental objective is to capture the maximum benefits for national operators involved in the oil and gas chain.
