The cargo ship that is expected to transport the first batch of liquefied natural gas from the Rovuma Basin is already docked in Mozambican waters, in the province of Cabo Delgado.
According to the Notícias newspaper, the large draught ship arrived in the country on Sunday, and will be able to fill the gas within days.
The same source, quotes the President of the Board of Directors of the National Petroleum Institute, Nazário Bangalane, giving assurances that the work of extraction and production of liquefied natural gas on the floating platform is proceeding on schedule.
