As of Wednesday, July 3, traffic on the stretch between Clube Marítimo and Costa do Sol, in Maputo city, will be divided into three lanes.

The measure will be in force between 3pm and 6pm from Monday to Friday, according to a statement issued by the Maputo Municipality, to which MZNews has had access.

In the same document, the municipality also announced the end of the first test and the definitive introduction of the carriageway on the section between Rua Acordos de Nkomati and Hotel Glória, between 6:00 and 8:00.

The measures, according to the municipality, are aimed at easing traffic congestion, which has been chaotic, especially at peak times.
