The Catalan Agency for Development Cooperation trains technicians in Inhambane on planning and implementation of climate resilient urban centers.
The project, funded by the European Union and implemented by the Catalan Agency, is budgeted at around 4.6 million euros equivalent.
The objective of the project, which will cover ten districts in Inhambane province including the municipalities, is to organize and provide the urban areas with sustainable and resilient tools.
The information was shared this Tuesday by Javier Calderon, representative of the Catalan Agency in Mozambique, at the annual triangular conference on sustainable, inclusive and resilient urban governance being held in the city of Inhambane.
The governor of Inhambane Daniel Chapo who opened the annual triangular conference said that the project is an asset to the province looking at its objectives.
In addition to the technicians from Inhambane province, those from Catalonia and Somalia are also participating.
