Top Employers Institute has certified Absa Group as "Africa's Best Employer 2022/ Top Employer Africa 2022".

The bank says that the certification reflects its commitment to increasingly create a better working environment by implementing the best human resources (HR) practices and policies.

"This distinction is the result of a joint work and strengthens our commitment to build an organization that recognizes that people are its strength," said the Managing Director of Absa Bank Mozambique, Rui Barros, quoted in the statement sent to our newsroom.

The Top Employers Institute annually certifies companies that stand out for their standards of excellence at a variety of levels with regard to good human resources practices.

The institution evaluated different areas of activity, including talent strategy and management, workforce planning, learning and development, hospitality, and compensation and benefits.

"With this award, Absa reinforces its positioning in the market as a Pan-African Bank highlighting the work that the institution has developed in the continuous improvement of its staff, ranking it as an employer of choice," it reads.
