In his inauguration speech, the President of the Republic, Daniel Chapo, said that his government would confront organized crime and return public security to families.

"We are going to confront organized crime and ensure that security is once again a reality for all Mozambicans. Justice cannot be a distant promise."

In the field of justice, he promised to improve court services efficiently and make health equipment available. "We're going to work and invest in the system".

He recognized that corruption is a disease that affects the system, letter carriers who suck the state dry.

He said that there will be no place for those who put their interests above the interests of the people.

"We will fight to the last consequences to defend the interests of the Mozambican people in all sectors, public and private."

To the young people who are desperate for work, he promised to "create an environment so that they can have a job without demanding vacancies".

He promised to fund entrepreneurship, technical training and ensure the production of school books for students.

"Mozambique cannot continue with lambebotismo, corruption, inertia or nepotism. Every citizen must be a fiscal for the rescue of the patriotism of all Mozambicans."
