The politician and leader of the nationwide demonstrations, Venâncio Mondlane, promises not to stop the demonstrations as long as the Frelimo government continues to kill the population.

In yet another live on national territory, Mondlane accused the Frelimo government of continuing to take people's lives without any justification.

"This is a typical example of the fact that this government is not a government of peace, that this regime does not want peace," said the politician, who then threatened to make the country ungovernable for the duration of his mandate.

"If they want this mandate to be full of demonstrations 365 days a day, we will demonstrate. If the whole mandate is to paralyze the country, we will", said Mondlane.

Mondlane said on the same live that he was living under siege by the police, but showed firmness in the fight he has been waging

"It's true that I'm here completely surrounded by armored vehicles, Mahindra, SERNIC (...) but I'm ready, if they want to arrest me, let them arrest me (... .) but the truth is that the demonstrations won't stop," he said.

In the meantime, he has once again shown his willingness and openness to engage in dialogue in order to put an end to the crisis and political tension that the country is experiencing.
