After the denunciation made by the Center for Democracy and Human Rights (CDD) this Tuesday (14) against the president of the Podemos party, Albino Forquilha, accusing him of having received 219 million meticais to stop fighting for the restoration of electoral truth, Podemos' first reaction is that the accusation is unfounded.

In a telephone conversation with MZNews, the spokesman for the Podemos party, Duclésio Chico, repudiated the accusations, saying that they had no basis in fact.

 Without elaborating, he said that the party had not received any documents about the accusation: "At the moment I can't say much about the case, but soon the party will call a press conference to position itself on the case alluded to," he said.
