The British driver, a seven-time Formula 1 champion, visited the Marretane reception center in the province of Nampula, in what was probably one of the most memorable experiences of his time in the Pearl of the Indian Ocean, Mozambique.
Hamilton published photographs on one of his social networks of the center, which is home to more than 700,000 displaced people, including 25,000 refugees from various African countries.
"The strength, spirit and resilience of the people I met will stay with me for the rest of my life," she wrote in the caption.
He also dedicated a few words to the workers at the reception center to protect everyone's life. "All our lives are connected, and we share everything".
