CTA brings projects worth 1.7 billion dollars to CASP-2024

The Mozambican private sector will present an investment package worth 1.7 billion US dollars at its annual conference this year.

These are projects from different areas of the economy for which national entrepreneurs will be seeking funding opportunities during the Nineteenth Annual Private Sector Conference (CASP.)

The information was shared on Friday by the President of the Confederation of Economic Associations of Mozambique, Agostinho Vuma, during the launch of CASP 2024.

According to the Confederation of Economic Associations (CTA), the country's largest employers' organization, the event to be held next May in Maputo will bring together more than 20,000 people from eleven countries.

"This Conference and the ongoing interaction with the private sector is proof of the government's commitment to creating a favorable environment for business and investment," said the Minister of Industry and Trade, Silvino Moreno, during the launch event.

The Annual Private Sector Conference is being held under the slogan: "Investment and Business in an Environment of Improved Economic Acceleration Measures: Challenges and Opportunities".
