The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Celso Correia, today delivered 45,000 agricultural production input kits and mechanization equipment to households in Maputo province, Boane district.

A statement released to MZNews says that the activity will take place as part of SUSTENTA-Emergência and will be attended by 1,000 producers, representing 12,000 families.

The event will also be attended by extension workers, producer representatives and representatives of the provincial government.

The document also states that in the southern zone, the first season of the 2022 and 2023 Agricultural Campaign has been characterized by normal rainfall with a tendency to be above normal, affecting various crops.
